Floppy-eared breeds, swimmers, and anything with a hairy ear canal are all prone to trapped moisture, wax, and debris — which is exactly how painful ear infections get started. We clean the outer ear and canal opening with a pet-safe solution, remove built-up wax and dirt, and dry everything thoroughly so nothing stays damp. Where a breed calls for it, we carefully remove excess ear hair to let air circulate. Along the way we look for redness, odor, or discharge and flag anything that deserves a veterinarian's opinion.
Everything happens inside our van at your curb — our own warm water, climate control, professional tables and quiet hand-held dryers. Your pet is the only animal on board for the whole appointment, and they come straight back to your door when we are finished.
